The staff are mostly helpful, the hotel is clean, and the hotel is surrounded by street food, shopping centres (for groceries like water) and transit in all directions. Importantly, this hotel is a short walk from a very unassuming street stall that sells the best har mee (prawn noodles) that we've *ever* had. We'll try to stay at this hotel again next time we visit Penang.

I booked a standard double room with en-suite shower. The room was very small but comfortable. Shower cube is divided only by glass so it doesn’t feel very private but it’s was not an issue for me. There was some mould on the walls of the bathroom but toilet, washbasin and floor were clean. No windows make the room perfect for sleep but difficult to wake up in the morning without alarm. Staff was polite and helpful. There’s water refill and free coffee in the lobby. Location is great right in the centre. Overall good value for money. I’d stay here again.

The staff! All so so friendly, kind and helpful - gave so many honest recommendations! The room was comfy, clean and didn’t smell at all (not sure what the other reviews were talking about). Maybe a 10 min walk to George Town, near the shopping mall too. Really loved my time here 😀

Clean and comfortable hotel. Nice friendly staff that were always helpful. Good location, close walk to a large mall as well as walking distance to all the main attractions in old town. not much more than a 15 minute walk to them all.

location is good. near with attraction place for example chowrasta, armenian street and also popular food stall; restaurants likes dimsum valet, restaurant makan pagi. room is comfortable and nice view.
